Marine reptiles, which ruled the ancient seas, offer a glimpse into prehistoric marine ecosystems. Among these creatures was the Mosasaurus, a large predator that lived approximately 82 to 66 million years ago. With a streamlined body and powerful jaws lined with sharp, conical teeth, the Mosasaurus hunted fish, squid, and other marine reptiles. The fossilized teeth of these sea predators, including other marine reptiles in our collection, provide insights into their hunting methods and roles in their ecosystems. Each tooth is a piece of the puzzle of ancient marine life, revealing the evolutionary adaptations that allowed these creatures to thrive.
